Since upgradig to Version 5.xx, I have a problem with the computer being extremely slow and the hard drive running excessively whenever a live update session has started or when launching a program. The product is up to date, howver, any new session of live update, makes the computer virtually un-usable for anywhere form 5 to 30 minutes. I am running Windows XP Professional with 2MB of RAM.
During installation I got an error message 8504, 104, but this has not come up subsequently. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Removal of the program restores the computer to high performance. I have used the Norton removal tool when doing the uninstall.
