This morning, a representative and I spent two hours + trying to get Norton working with Outlook 2007. Uninstalled reinstall, cleaned temp files, regedit. Found where McAfee with Comcast did not uninstall properly some years ago. Keep coming up with a message of memory and could not open Outlook. Uninstalled again.
Ran version 5 and had not problems with Outlook, uninstall 5 and reinstalled V20 again. Just by chance I asked about the plug-ins. Once we unchecked it Outlook Norton Anti Spam Plug In it worked fine.
Comcast does a great job about filtering emails sometimes too good. So I am not worried about being flooded with Spam.
