A year and two weeks ago, on June 22, I posted in this forum on this topic. I've spent the last year in a major re-write of the application, and I'm ready to start distributing.
First hurdle is to offer a demo version of the program users can download for free.
I've used Inno Setup to build a setup executable that installs my application, along with some files it needs.
I can download the file, but when the file is downloaded a small red window pops up at the bottom of the display, near the right side. This informs me that a security threat has been dealt with.
Clicking on that window brings up a "File Insight" window that tells me "This Insight Network Threat has been removed".
Oh oh, now that red window no loner pops up.
No message, but the download is no longer present.
Let's start with getting that window back. If Norton Security is removing downloads from my system, I want to know about it.
I've submitted a dispute with Semantic, to get them to allow my program to be downloaded. But let's get that notification working again please.
