Norton Security - windows keeps crashing my system

Dear Community,

 

I am in the situation where I received an error message 8054,104 - then was informed to gain support.

I then ended up on the chat system for support.

They have used Norton Power Eraser and installed the new version of N360.

I lost my back up set. I also now am in the position that every time I run a scan or even go to use the Norton 360 interface, my whole system crashes (shuts down).

I also noticed prior to the last shut down something regarding the firewall and Chrome - High CPU Usage

 

Has anyone been through this recently?
