I'm having this error supposedly linked with Norton Power Eraser, in which I cannot apply an update available for this component of NSBU.
The update is 3.45MB
I must mention, that I have the product installed on 5 different PCs, two of them running Windows 7, and the rest Windows 8.1, all x64. And I have the same problem on all of them.
I've contacted support and tried several solutions, like re-installing, disabling Windows 8.1 Fast Startup, the suggestions explained here also (https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v57189309_EndUserProfile_en_us), all with no luck.
All the other updates, critical and non-critical apply successfully, but this one doesn't.
I don't know what to do next, any suggestions?
Since I have this problem on all of my PCs, I did wonder if it could be a corrupted .exe, so I downloaded the installer again but the same thing happens. This to me looks like a network related problem in which I can't make contact with the server that offers the update.
I will attach a pic, sorry it's in spanish, but you can see that NPE is the one affected.
