Hello,
I purchased a 10 device license for Norton Security and installed it on my son's laptop as well. I want to be sure 1) his laptop is protected and 2) my logon is not used on his PC and other family PC's.
Therefore I installed the desktop software, signed in to activate/consume one of my licenses and signed out my account after the installation completed. I also changed the password setting in settings so that a password is needed to change settings.
- Will he be able to install virus definition updates nonetheless, even when he is not signed in with my Norton account?
- Do I need to do other things to make sure my Norton account is not being used on other family PC's after one of my licenses has been activated?
