Norton showing outdated drivers that it will fix if I pay, but the ones listed are fine & not outdated when manually checked?

Hi, Norton is showing outdated drivers that it will fix if I pay, but the ones listed are fine & not outdated when manually checked?

Can anyone advise?

This is one reason that some here do not recommend the Driver Update app. You are better to use the Windows Update and your computer’s manufacturer website to get the latest specific drivers you might need.

Thanks Peter, I have not subscribed, & for example it is showing Realtek audio R driver, which appears to be up to date, so I wont be subscribing then, but I will check on the HP website for latest drivers just to make sue. Many thanks.

Norton said I had 8 outdated driver and none where outdated. just scareware to get you to upgrade which really stinks to have this type of reputation. I thought Norton was better than this to use some type of deceptive or misleading business practices.

All this just to be able to sell something that isn’t even necessary. You can just download it from the manufacturer’s official website.

der hvor driver updater er nice er til steder hvor du ikke lige skal hen normal bundkort ect til grafikkort windows ect er den dum at bruge sĂĄ den har sine fordele og ulemper jeg bruger den kun til unormale steder
