Hi ijblackie,
I have a few questions in order to give you a concrete answer to your question:
1 What Norton product do you have? (Norton Internet Security 2012)
2 What Email client do you use?
3 What folder are the mails in that you want Norton Anti-spam to sort the mails from?
Scenario could be as follows:
1 Norton Internet Security2012
2 Outlook 2010
3 Inbox
In the above scenario the mails would be seen to the Norton Spam Folder.
In case where you do not have one of the fully compatible email clients (Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, and Windows Mail) Norton Anti-Spam only marks the subject with a tag [Spam] or something similar to this and you would have to create a mail rule yourself to move the tagged Emails to the Norton Spam folder.
One thing if you are using Microsoft Outlook 2010/2007 you can see if you have any disabled items (start "Outlook" click on "Home" select "Options" then select "Add-ins" change the dropdown "Manage" to "Disabled Items" and click Go. And check if Norton Antispam or anything at all is there.
Also check that Norton Anti-Spam is in the list of Add-ins just above.
Please come back with answers to my questions and I will guide you to the correct solution.
Best Regards,
Jespersen
