it is frustrating when Norton encounters a false positive and stops you from downloading something without offering you a choice to override it.
I believe this is caused by the Norto extension in Chrome.
It basically stops me from downloading a file even though it is perfectly safe and has been downloaded by a large community and used by a large community,
The frustration is that I just get a notification I nth browser that Norton has stopped a malicious file and I do not get a choice to override it.
Switching off download intelligence does not stop Norton from interfering and even switching off both antivirus and firewall still does not stop Norton interfering.
I had to use EDGE to download it without any issues.
How do I override Norton in situations where I know the file is safe to download?
