I've been having problems these past three days with my computer freezing up. When it freezes, it never unfreezes so I have to reboot it to get it to become unfroze. Today, I got the alert that my antivirus needed to run a scan and I clicked it to have it run. While it was running, my computer froze. After 10 minutes, I rebooted; the scan wasn't complete. Now, whenever I get online, I see that my Norton says it has a "Fix In Progress" but there's nothing going on in which to produce this. When I went do another Quick Scan, it wouldn't do it. It said "Initializing" for 5 minutes, then my computer froze on me again. Is there a way to correct the issue on my antivirus saying there's a fix going on when one isn't and for it to let me do a scan? I would like for my antivirus to have the green check-mark on it over it not having it.
