Norton support for Thunderbird

Are there any plans to have Norton fully support the e-mail client Thunderbird (such as integration of the AntiSpam toolbar)? :-)

Why did it not make the cut? Because basic scanning is already done for standard mail in TB?

Thunderbird is, besides Outlook (Express), the most used mail client in the world, so it deserves the same functionality as in Outlook.

I second this. Now I can't use the feature that, among other things, I payed for. I'm using Thunderbird with Gmail account (which only uses SSL/TLS) and I can't take advantage of anti-spam component.

Please include full support for Thunderbird in future Norton product since many people use that e-mail client.

I recently switched from the McAfee product that came pre-installed on the Dell I bought last year to Norton Internet Security 2011, which got better ratings than the McAfee line.

But I lost the ability to have e-mail client integration in the process.  Within the last 6 months or so, the McAfee toolbar actually started working with Thunderbird.

But there is no Norton toolbar for Thunderbird.

And I've just recently realized that, now that Norton Antivirus is actually quarantining the contents of messages in my trash folder, Norton started royally screwing with my ability to read valid messages.  They became all garbled as a result of the quarantining.

Fortunately I now know that the next time that happens, all I have to do is delete the *.msf file, and I'll once again be able to see my messages in their original format.

Norton clearly needs to have much better integration with Thunderbird, both from the standpoint of Norton Antispam (I really need to tell it that some messages should not be considered spam, as I am a mailing list administrator), and from the standpoint of Norton Antivirus.

Please give this the attention and priority that it deserves.  That should be part of what my money pays for.

This is still a sadly missing feature - a Norton Toolbar for Thunderbird would be much appreciated.

I'd appreciate this toolbar as well.

I'am using Norton since  10 years and I also use Thunderbird since I can think. But there is no motivation from Norton, that Norton Internet Security suport Thunderbird like Outlook Express.I think that is the ground that i will pay no longer for Norton Internet Security
