Updated to 22.22.9.11 from 22.22.8.15 10 days ago. Option to change default scan not available as Product announcement BUT Norton Task Notifications not working although switched on, were definitely working prior to update. Got round to double checking on Laptop this morning after updating a few days ago, not working on that either. On this desktop, originally Removed & Reinstalled, done a complete remove, download & new installs, installed initially a so called 22.22.8.15 but was not the correct version, must have been a good year out of date. No SmartScan, Messages or NEA Program Join showing. Updated to 22.22.9.11, these were still missing. After 3 or 4 attempts, by following different direction, did get back proper 22.22.8.15, updating to 22.22.9.11 still Task Notifications NOT working. Laptop was just a normal update run, same result as original update on this computer.
May I ask why these (most) useful notifications have been removed with the issue of 22.22.9.11?. No mention in Product Update announcement. Please reinstall. Thanks

Some of background task notification alerts will not to be displayed. So customers won't be able see those alerts. Thanks.
Done an app download today (Firefox), notification came up to say it was safe so appears pop-up notifications work for those but not for when background tasks run which has been issue since updating to 22.22.9.11, for instance when Norton Insight runs on auto.
peterweb: done that a couple of times, still not working. If only problem was on the one computer perhaps just issue on that one but same issue on both computers.
Sometimes settings get muddled. Try turning the Task Notification setting off and save settings. Then close 360. Open it again and reset the Task Notification Setting again.
Unable to show it NOT working. Notification alerts turned on in settings. Was working in 22.22.8.15 prior to first doing update to 22.22.9.11. Likewise, was OK after complete remove & new install (to default download 22.22.8.15), then not working once again after update to 22.22.9.11. Same state of not working on Windows 10 (latest release installed - 21H2) Desktop & Windows 8.1 laptop. No settings changed , all still at my standard set as has been for years.
