I am running windows 7, Firefox 14 and Internet Explorer 9 with Norton 360 v.6.2.1.5. The toolbar was here yesterday gone today. Under "view toolbars..." the Norton option is gone in Firefox. View toolbars for IE9 lists Norton Toolbar and it is enabled but still not there. I have disabled and rebooted and enabled and still the toolbar doesn't come back though the option is still listed in the view toolbars... I have run the Norton live update a couple times to be sure all updates are done. I have also checked to make sure the Firefox and Windows is on latest version/patch. I use the Firefox so that is the one I'm most interested in fixing.

Lets take FF first:
Go to Tools > Manage Add-ons > Extentions There should be two entires pertaining to Norton: Norton Tool Bar 212.7.4.1 and Norton Vulnerability Protection 11.0.0.243-2 both should be Enabled (if they have a Disable Button showing, that means they are Enabled.)
Let us know if they are present or if you have another number listed for them.
For IE 9 - The norton toolbar only works with the 32 bit version of IE 9, it will not work with the 64 bit version.
In IE 9 go to Help > About and see which version you are using: The version shown below (wihtout anything inside the circle) is the 32 bit version. The 64 bit version willhave 64 bit where the circle is.
Let us know which version you have.
