Does NIS 4.0 have the Norton Toolbar and Identity Safe or is Confidential File Guard the same thing as Identity Safe in Windows. If it does have the Norton Toolbar, what browsers is it compatible with. The one for Windows will only work with Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.

Does Confidential File Guard the same that Identity Safe does in Windows. That is what I used in Windows to remember my user name and passwords and to fill in forms on web sites (that way I would have to take time to enter my name and address).
No, it does not work in that way. The Confidential Data feature is designed to prevent information like e-mail addresses from being sent out without your consent. Confidential Data won't auto-fill that information into forms like the IDSafe feature in the Norton Internet Security for Windows product.
Does NIS have any features that will let you fill in forms or let you save user names and passwords for whatever site you choose.
Norton Internet Security for the Mac does not have any such features at this time. There are several free form-filling solutions for the Mac, including LastPass (http://www.lastpass.com). If you need to share passwords that were saved with Norton Internet Security for Windows, then there is no solution at this time, sorry.
Now I know why I like Norton 360
