Hi!
I have Norton Internet Security and I would like to see the full toolbar on my computer. However, after I enabled the toolbar, it only partially showed. It is to the right of the browser but only the "X," "Search" box, and "Navigate to the Identity Safe Home Page" functions show.
I have a Compaq Presario with Windows Vista Home Premium, 32-Bit. I use Internet Explorer 9.
I recently did a System Recovery but I never enabled the Norton toolbar before. How do I get the whole toolbar to be visible?
What version of NIS are you using? If if is NIS 2012 or earlier, the only thing you would be missing on the toolbar would be the Identity Safe button and the Norton Safe Web button, which should appear if you enable those features in your Norton settings.
I've checked and it should be the Norton Internet Security 2012. All updates are installed.
I will check the Norton Settings as you've suggested and see if the problem lies there.
Thank you for your response.
Hi MissPiglet,
To ensure which version of NIS you are running, click on Support at the upper right of the interface. Mouse over About. If you are running NIS 2012 updated, the version number should read 19.9.0.9.
After checking your settings to ensure the toolbar features are enabled, and if still no luck, run Norton Autofix. Support > Get Support. This will check your Norton installation. A number of toolbar issues have been fixed in this manner.
