Norton Toolbar Update 2014.7.8.25 for Google Chrome

Dear Norton Community,

We have released a Norton Toolbar 2014.7.8.25 update for Norton Identity Safe Standalone to support the Google Chrome policy change that discontinues the use of NPAPI (Netscape Plugin API) technology. The Norton Toolbar extension update for Norton 21.6 products is released for all customers today in Google chrome store. This patch is released as a part of Norton 21.6 update which is available via LiveUpdate. Once the Norton Toolbar extension named “Norton Toolbar Security” has been updated to version 2014.7.8.25, then the Norton 21.6 patch may be applied via LiveUpdate. These two Norton Toolbar Update for Google Chrome and Norton 21.6 product update  work in concert to bring the user up to the latest and greatest support for Chrome.

Norton Security Toolbar 2014.7.8.25

 

The versions for this Norton Toolbar extension update are as follows:

Norton Identity Safe Standalone:

Norton Security Toolbar : 2014.7.8.25

Note: For Identity Safe Standalone, this patch requires a machine reboot.

 

Norton Internet Security & Norton 360 21.6.0.32:

Norton Security Toolbar :  2014.7.8.25

Note: Note: For the 21.6 update, this patch does not require reboot on Win 7 & Win 8 machines.
