Preliminary results have been released for this year's AV-Comparatives Whole Product Dynamic test. Norton outscored the competition by blocking 99.3% of the threats and alerting the user to decide about another 0.4%. This particular test is the best measure of how well a product protects against threats when using all of the security features that are included in the product. The test tells you how well the product, as it is actually used in the real world, performs overall to prevent malware infections.
