I received an email that my subscription to Norton Total Protection was automatically renewed for $257.28 for 5 years. Is this a scam? I do have Norton 360, but what is Norton Total Protection?
It sounds like a scam 100%.
Norton does not have 5 year plans and the pricing is out of line with what we know here. I think they are trying to get you to call or click some bogus link and then try to steal credit card or other confidential info.

Fraudulent companies carry out technical support scams by posing as software support providers and claim to offer support on behalf of major technology companies. They set up fake websites, send scam emails, offer free security scans, or send alarming messages to convince you that your computer is infected or needs to be fixed.
