Hi I justy wanted to say that for the last two weeks I am having trouble with my norton turning its self off when I turn off the computer then it doesn't want to turn back on unless I run a system restore. I am using Norton 2011 antivirus
Your may need to uninstall and reinstall the Norton product to solve this. Download and run the Norton Removal Tool to uninstall the Norton product. Please make sure that you take a backup of Identity Safe (if possible) before you run the Norton Removal Tool. You can download the Norton Removal Tool from:
http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20100423023225EN
After you restart the computer, you will receive the steps/link to redownload and install your Norton product.
Thanks I will try that
Doing a system restore often causes Norton to malfunction. If you are doing a system restore fore some other reason, expect Norton to run into problems. System restore is not the same as an image. It only changes certain files back to a prior setting, not all of them.
What do you suggest that I do? It doesn't happen every time. But I am in college online and really need my computer work right.

I suggest you clean up and reinstall along the lines cyberlife suggests since if your installation is corrupted in some way that is a good way to correct it. If you use the Identity Safe feature for log ins make sure you Export the data file to a safe place so you can Import it again after reinstalling since a complete cleanup can remove that file too.
How many days are shown as remaining on your subscription on the main Norton screen?
Check that your system date and time and time zone are correct.
