This morning, an automatic update was performed on my Norton antivirus. Not only the update did fail, but I had subsequently a major problem with my computer. The right mouse button stopped working, the computer was constantly freezing, I was unable to shut down the computer normally. Also unable to uninstall Norton or make scans, nor install a tool to find the problem. I finally restart the computer in safe mode and finally I was able to remove Norton. Afterwards I tried to reinstall Norton, but I had the same problems. While waiting to find a solution, I used a free version of Avast. I wonder if other users have had problems with this update? If so what is the problem. A corrupted Norton file? I lost half of my day with this story !!!
