I installed NAV2009 on a customers PC today and when I tried to Update the Virus/IPS Definitions with Live Update, I got an error message that said; "Not all of the Updates were successful"
When I contacted Norton/Symantec "Tech Support" via Chat, I was told that it was a server problem and that I should try again in 24 HOURS!
When I asked to be connected to a Supervisor that "Agent" left me hanging, and after 15 minutes I disconnected!!
Then I tried calling what I THOUGHT was Symantec headquarters in Cupertino, CA, Instead I got someone who only wanted to ask me questions, and refused to forward me to anyone at Headquarters!
This entire episode is/was TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, especially for a company the size and importance of Symantec!
I have always recommended Symantec/Norton products to ALL of my 100's of customers
