Hello there,
Just recently about 2 weeks ago, I always have the habbit of manualy updating my Norton as soon as my computer boots.
But however, I noticed that the updates and checks are taking such a long time, like its having a realy good think about it - before it would take seconds, now it takes 15-20 for each check from the services..
Nothing has changed on my PC and the Installation and my PC wasn’t built not so long ago.
I have tryed to fiqure out a repair and I have come to a bit of a head scratcher right now..
Unless its just me..
@norton - You need to update your A.I assistant on the website.. Its still on stuck on Windows 7 haha..
I don’t want to re-install stuff as Amoury Crate is always keen on this..
I appreciate any help or assistance..
Ok I have tryed the following -
Re-installed Norton - used Norton removale tool.
DId a virus scan and nothing flagged out.
Flushed DNS.
Did the optional Windows Update.
Found the re-pair tool and used that.
Repair tool on windows.
Checked connection - stable and fast enough.
Anyways - when it checks for updates as in definition updates and product updates its slow. Its like Norton services are running a bit slow, like Kbps.. Rest seems to be ok. Unless there is a handshake issue from my end to yours or services are running on high traffic..
I’m sorry about my grammer or if something doesn’t make sense, I am realy tired.
Thank you everyone!.
