Norton updates and Adobe flash player 10.0.12.36

I just downloaded Adobe flash player 10.0.12.36 after removing the previous version 9 flash player

I had read that version 9 had some security issues

After the download It seemed to add shockwave flash object flash10a.ocx to my internet explorer add ons

Now are there compatability issues with NAV2008 and getting Norton updates and problems cause by having flash player 10.0.12.36?

I thought I had seen something on this once and that was why I did not upgrade my flash player. Or am I totally off base?

the the Norton One-Click Support Option that part of the 2009 products and not the NAV2008?

Also I noticed this file

ieinstal.exe

(path C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\ieinstal.exe) at the same time of the install

Hi NY1986,

Yes, the Norton 2009 products rely upon Flash Player for the One Click support Option.

I don't believe the 2008 products use Flash Player for the Support Option, but I am open to correction on that.
