have just install NU 14.0 on XP Professional SP3. All MS XP updates and fixes are applied.
I'm running Norton Internet Security 2011.
NU Version 14.5.0.120
Every time I start NU it displays the message: Norton Utilities 14.0 has encountered a problem and needs to close
If I leave the message up, the NU actually comes up behind the message. If I close the message, NU never comes up.
I was able to run NU Smart Update by moving the message to the side, but even the current release does not resolve the problem.
