Norton Utilities 14.5 on Vista slowed by boot up

I installed Norton Utilities 14.5 on Vista. After installing, my boot time is now about 5x slower. I uninstalled the Utility however my slow boot up remained.  What did Norton Utilities do to my machine to drastically slow down my boot up?
