In the pervious version of NU, Registry Cleaning can provide me suggestions to correct the wrong file paths in registry entries. However in NU 14.5, I can only keep or delete those registry entries but cannot modify them.
Is it just safe for me to delete all those registry entries instead of correcting them?
By the way a good practice is to always go into System Restore and do a manual backup of your registry before you do anything which will make changes to it, such as installing applications, etc. Windows does this automatically when you install certain things such as hardware drivers or Critical Windows updates but does not typically do this when you install other software applications. So it is always a good precaution.
thanks a lot! I've just run the registry cleaning and up to now, so far so good~
but I found another issue on the new NU... everytime I restart my PC, a bubble message will prompt out and ask me to click the NU trayicon in order to start a schedule scanning...
it's in fact quite annoying and I dunno where I set a schedule scanning at all...

It isn't a scheduled scan as such, it is a quick start scan that you can disable by going into general settings and changing automatic startup to disabled.
