Norton Utilities 14 Smart update Not smart at all

Smart update presented a performance test update in every language on earth.  I deselected everything but English, and downloaded the update.  Now it keeps presenting all the other language updates each time smart update is run.

I’ve heard from symantec this is by design. We should go ahead and apply the update.

This is an integrated utility with everything combined.

I've done the Live Update and installed all recommended packages for the other languages, no problems.

 

Please do this so it won't nag you about these updates any more.

 

NOTE: If you click on Administer in the main NU window and then select Settings you will see configuration options for all the different languages. Unlike some programs where each language is installed with only support for that language, with NU the language can be chosen on the fly which is why the Live Update works the way it does.
