Norton utilities 15 and Defrag not working

The log will be in temp from the run box you can type %temp% and click ok. Remember though you will need to uninstall and reinstall NU first.

The only way i can remove NU15 is rebooting into the safe mode, otherwise the uninstall box just sits there and does nothing and you cant click the "x" to close you have to open task manager and kill it that way

Ok, uninstalled and reinstalled.. have install log file, just need to know where to send it

Are you able to run Disk Doctor or is the problem only with Speed Disk?  Can you check the current state of the Disk Doctor service and try to start it if it's not running?

No, Disk Doctor will NOT run. It does the same thing as Speed Disk does!!

No its started and set to automatic. The same with speed disk.

Would you have some time in the next 30-60 minutes for a remote session?

The logs have been passed along, but unfortunately nothing yet.  I'm hoping to hear something this week, but it may stretch into next week.

I have the same problem as Vantech... can't start speedisk and diskdoctor.

Using Win7 64bit.

 

I have the installation log file if you need.
