I have two different errors occurring on two different computers with a new install of Norton Utilities 15:
1) In Speed Disk Boot optimization, with Include page files selected, at the beginning of the routine after the volume is scanned I receive the error "Selected disk is detected as SSD/Flash drive." Each of the two machines has two SATA hard disks and no attached SSD or flash drives connected. The error allows me to continue with the optimization, so the process works, but I wonder if anyone else has seen this? It didn't happen the first time I ran boot optimization on either machine, but they each went into hybrid sleep before optimization completed, which killed the process. When I ran it a second time, I got the error on each machine.
2) Also in Speed Disk, with any of the defrag options, I sporadically get the error "Speed disk has detected a system restore point or backup in progress on this volume" when neither is actually occurring. Is anyone else getting that error?
One of my machines is Windows 7 64-bit with the two hard drives in a RAID array, and the other is Windows XP with the two drives not in an array.
