I am new to this forum and this is my first post. While I could call tech support the last time they seemed unable to correct the problem and then I discovered a new problem!
Problem 1:
Okay, so when you click "start" in the lower left hand part of the screen it brings up the "start menu". Before installing NU16 the appearance of the start menu was a list of recently used programs and at the top were programs you have "pinned" to that part of the display. Seperating the recently used program and the pinned programs were two horizonal bars. In addition, the vertical size of the start menu area was short (about half the vertical size of the screen). Now the two horizontal seperator bars are missing and if you select large icons the start menu area takes up almost all the vertical area with a large blank area towards the bottom. The question is how do I restore the start menu to it's original appearance?
Problem 2:
In both word and excel after NU16 runs the recently opened files disappear!
Is there a setting or something I can set to still keep what was opened?
