Norton utilities 16 performance section

When i enable any of the performance profiles norton utilities gives as an option to choose from i noticed in HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\PriorityControl
"Win32priorityseperation i get a hex value of 1a. What are the pros and cons of this value?

1a Hexadecimal = 26 Decimal

The values there show 16 and 26 for win32priority seperation but what does the value 1a (hex) do?

This registry setting seems to control the priority of background or foreground applications. When you change the default performance profiles, this setting gets changed depending on your choice of performance profile.
