Norton Data Shredder is retaining a list of files shredded, even when returning to it a day or 2 later, and after a PC restart. This is a clear security concern.

How may a User clear the list of files shredded?

First time using the shredding feature. I shredded a few files for testing purposes but I see no list of the files after the shredding. Where in the NUU interface are you seeing this list?

I just launched Utilities. Here is a sanitised screenshot from the Manage Data Panel. Past filenames and details are being retained.

Thanks for the image. I am not seeing that yet. Maybe I need to wait for a day before I see that. Or maybe you are seeing it because you have a couple of “Shredding glitch” notations. See if you can clear those and see if that removes the list.

Thank you. There is no way to clear any of the entries. Clicking of any sort does nothing. I see no setting to delete or clear the list, or any part of it. It is a clear security breach.

If you scroll down to the bottom of your list of shredded files, any chance there are any buttons there to clear the list? An OK or Continue or maybe Select Files to start the process again. If so try clicking on any of those to see if they can clear the list.

I’ll check again tomorrow to see if I see a list of the files I shredded earlier today.

EDIT Try going to the main Home page of NUU and click on re-scan. Might be worth a try.

Thank you. There is nothing. In the screenshot, the list is scrolled to the very bottom, and the interface cannot be scrolled any further.

EDIT: I clicked re-scan on the Home Page of NUU and what do you know… doing that does clear the list of Items shredded! Thank you.

One observation: The total number of items shredded is shown, under Statistics - See Data - Cleaned Items.

Just ass you now 25.11 is not a normal version 25.1 is the normal version dont now why it is name 25.11 25.1 miner is the normal all got and that is just name 68 under miner not 58 and the 25.2 is 100% delay that patch is coming when ready total nda
