Norton Utilities deleted my FF4 passwords

Not sure if this is the correct forum so pls move if not.

So, it's been, what, 14 years since I last had the pleasure of using Norton Utilities.  In the old days it was guaranteed to screw up your Mac.

So, yesterday, when renewing my AV sub, I bought Utils too, seeing as it must be perfect by now, right?

WRONG.

Installed it, run it, and it's cleared ALL my stored passwords out of Firefox.  Not the Norton Security plugin ones - I'm on FF4 and haven't got a plugin yet for that - but yes, it's deleted all the Firefox ones,  They were all there yesterday before I ran Utils.

WTF Symantec?!  You have totally screwed me up here. there were hundreds of passwords stored in FF, and all different!  You really have screwed me up.  Cheers, thanks a lot. Ta.

15 years on and still the biggest threat to my PC (and therefore my business) isn't a Virus, it's NORTON UTILITIES.

How long will this post survive I wonder?  Or will someone from Norton actually help me resolve this?  My bet is on deletion...
