Every time I use Yahoo! Messenger,(Latest version of it),on Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit it works fine. But when I exit the software and run Norton Utilities v15.0 "Clean your Registry", I always get the following error:
High Priority: Highlighted value is missing or invalid
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yahoo\pager\profiles\ MY YAHOO USER ID IS HERE \FriendsIcons
I am able to repair it but it keeps coming back when ever I run Yahoo! Messenger.
I have searched my computer for FriendsIcons folders or files, but Windows 7 doesn't let you search system files or at least I don't know how to. I couldn't find anything.
I searched through the Yahoo! Messenger preferences but the only thing I could find was my display image and I deleted that and choose not to share it with anyone. That didn't solve the problem.
I did a custom Uninstall and removed what I thought was all traces of Yahoo! Messenger and re-installed and that didn't work. Is their any way I can tell Norton Utilities to Ignore that Registry key from now on?
