2. What are the changes in this build?
Smart scan functionality is implemented in Norton security UWP and Norton Security On-The-Go UWP 1.18 app. Smart Scan helps identify device security and network issues on Windows 10 in S Mode and Windows on ARM devices and provide solutions to keep your digital life secured. Following scans will be done as part of Smart Scan.
▪ Virus and Malware scan: Scans the areas in your computer that are most vulnerable to threats and offers action to resolve them in Windows Security Center.
▪ Network scan: Scans for network vulnerabilities which include:

Weak Wi-Fi password

Weak Wi-Fi network encryption

Unprotected Wi-Fi network

Man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks

DNS spoof attacks

SSL strip attacks

Content tamper attacks
▪ Advanced Issues scan: Scans the installed Microsoft Store applications on your machine to detect suspicious behavior and report it for your attention. After Smart Scan completes each category of the scan, you can identify the security status based on the following:

A green status indicates that your device and personal information are protected.

An orange status indicates that there are some issues that require your attention.

A red status indicates that there are some urgent issues that require immediate resolution.
- Below defects were fixed:
- VPN connection errors.
- Norton Security On-the-Go app activation error 'Unable to complete purchase' after successful purchase, download and install
- Norton Security On-the-Go App UI loop back to “Start Your Free Trial” after entering Norton Account credentials during activation
3. What countries is the product available in?
Norton Security Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app is available to Windows 10 S users from the MSFT App Store. Direct MSFT Store offering is now extended to US, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia and New Zealand.
In rest of the countries, the app can be installed with an existing valid Norton Subscription by visiting My Norton portal on a 10 S machine.
Norton Security UWP is now a New Norton offering, purchase of the app allows the customer to access the Norton product on other devices as well.
Note: NS UWP will not be available in China, Korea, Turkey, Malaysia and Russia
4. What are the operating system requirements?
Microsoft Windows 10 in S mode (32-bit or 64-bit or ARM32 or ARM64) version 1803 and above.
5. How do I download this app?
For customers in US, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia and New Zealand, search for Norton Security on the MSFT App Store.
In rest of the countries, the app can be installed with an existing valid Norton Subscription by visiting My Norton portal on a 10 S machine.
