When I was with McAfee, their vpn turned on automatically. My current Norton vpn is an ever present 5 click manual start up. When I forget to turn it on and realize Norton vpn is off its usually after I've already logged into my bank acct. Currently my Norton vpn wont turn on at all, a message saying "no internet connection" is displayed which is wrong because all my internet is working for everything but Norton vpn. Norton support chat doesnt work either. So I just purchased a 3 year Hotspot Shield VPN for $107. Its up and running with no input from me. When my Norton Anti-virus subscription is up in 6 months I will not renew any Norton service
Chatted with Norton VPN support and they remotely removed VPN and reinstalled. I'll post if that doesn't take care of the automatic log in issue...

I spoke to an Norton agent this morning as I asked why this new feature VPN and Ad Tracking had to be switched on every day unlike the rest of its security sweet. I also asked them why they was not working like other VPN providers to provide a safe system like the called LifeLok as now part of Symantec again . It states on the packaging Virus Malware, Spyware & Ransom ware Protection how can this be effected if it is defeated by Nortons' neglect in the first place . Come on Norton please make your product secure You continually have to turn on VPN and Ad Tracking : Malware, Spyware & Ransom ware Protection every time you start the computer here :
