Norton VPN - how to tell the location so I don't have to worry about emails for login in different place

Issue abstract: I am using the VPN and receive emails saying “a new device has logged in (city, State). Was this you?” I attribute this to the VPN however how can I be sure it was just the VPN showing me as being in Ashburn, VA for example?

it is possible google ther is doing it if i get log of youtube and log ind from a new place then google says is it mee many times and you cant do anything aboute it
