Norton VPN Logs Out

I recently purchased Norton 360 with Lifelock.  This has been installed on both a PC with Windows 10 and an iMac with Macos 13.6 (High Sierra).  The download seemed to install fine and I can turn on Norton Secure VPN.  But when I come back after a log-out, restart, or shut-down, the VPN option is turned off.  How do I keep it active without having to go to My Norton and turn it on after each log-off or restart/shut-down?

As long as I am here, I am also confused by the "Settings" option in My Norton.  When I click on it, all that comes up is an option to choose either the My Norton or Classic view.  How do I change settings for Norton 360 or the secure VPN?

Waiting for an update does not sound like a solution, but seems like the something that we have to live with - or switch to a different company.

Hope for an update so that the vpn stays on until it is switched off by me.

The VPN with the new Norton 360 products does not stay active after a system restart. Many users have requested that there be more control over this time out. And Norton has said they will consider it for a future update, but no news yet.

To access the Settings in the new 360, you can right click on the Norton icon in the Windows System Tray. Then click on Settings at the bottom of the list.
