Norton VPN making it look like I'm in Canada

When I use Norton 360 VPN and use any browser all the results I get back assume I'm in Canada and not the US. If I shut off VPN and re-open my browser I'm back in the US. Any suggestions? Thanks, Charles

Your most welcome. The VPN servers won't show as in the state you are in unless of course, Norton happens to have one there. Looks like you're all set. Stay healthy!!

Thanks! I'm back in the USA ... although they have me in VA instead of New England!:) And it doesn't seem to allow me to pick a state. This got me closer anyway so thanks!

Yes!! If you haven't ever selected a region the VPN can just default to whatever region is the best connection available at that moment. When you open the VPN select the region you are in. The VPN should remember that choice until you change it manually.

Thanks. I’ve not selected anything. Are you saying it’s normal for it to select a region outside my country? It makes it more than a little hard to search for anything since it’s always giving you sites from another country.

Hello Charles. The VPN should select a "random" region unless you select one in order to mask your actual IP. That is normal behavior.
