  • User-facing changes.
    • Manual IP Refresh: Introducing the Manual IP Refresh feature to this platform. A new option in Norton VPN that allows you to refresh your public IP address with a single click while staying connected to the same VPN location. This helps resolve IP-related issues such as streaming errors, blocked sites, or repeated CAPTCHA challenges without needing to disconnect and reconnect.

    • Post-Quantum Encryption(PQE) implementation: Post-Quantum Encryption is an advanced security feature in Norton VPN that protects encrypted connections from potential threats posed by quantum computing. This technology is designed to mitigate long-term risks, such as “harvest now, decrypt later” attacks, where data encrypted today could be compromised in the future. With this feature, customers can enjoy enhanced protection while using supported Norton VPN connections.
    • This feature is available under Settings(Gear Icon at the top-right) → VPN Preferences → Post-Quantum Encryption

    • When enabling this feature, the users will be prompted with the above dialogue box describing the feature and the supported Protocol.
    • This feature works with WireGuard and Mimic Protocol
  • Background improvements to performance and stability.
  • Minor bug fixes and other small enhancements.

4. How to obtain this new version:

  • Download from the Google Play Store: Open Google Play Store and search for Norton VPN Fast & Secure and download the latest version from there.
  • Automatic update rollout: If you’re an existing user, the update is being rolled out automatically in phases. It will install on your device once it becomes available for your account.
