The html file method is fine for getting the sites verified. There is a choice of using either method.
I will notify the Safe Web Team that the sites are verified, but you still want them verified. The Safe Web Team doesn't start working until late night EDT. I will mention also for them to check the post after the one where you listed the html files.

Do you by chance happen to be scanning from ip 198.56.203.181? We are getting alerts from our firewall in regards to plateaufiber.com.
Let me start off by saying that one of my colleagues was able to make contact with Norton support using Facebook messenger. Our sites are now showing green, but I'd still like to get them verified. I see that you found the meta tag for billpay .plateautel . com. I still show that it needs verification. Is there something else you need for that?
As for our other sites, some of them we cannot put a meta tag in them. For example, Appservices . plateautel . com is a windows service url, so it won't behave like a normal website. Plateautel . com has some script that is loaded on the page load, which I believe is moving the meta tag we have in place making it unreachable for you. Therefore, we put the alternate method of verification by the HTML files. Can you use that method for our sites? Or do you have to use the meta tags? Below are the links to the html files I copied from your site. Note, these links are direct copies from the verification site.
