I recently purchased Norton WiFi Privacy to use with my laptop PC. The first few times I used it, it was able to make a secure connection, but ever since then it has not been able to do so. It just says "Connecting," but never connects. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Is it possible to configure my Norton WiFi Privacy software to prefer VPN servers in my same time zone (Central Time)?
Not at this time.
This might be a good suggestion for the Product Suggestions board https://community.norton.com/forums/product-suggestions

Thanks for posting back. Sometimes it may be a Windows update that can muddle things.
That appears to have worked. Thank you!
Have you tried reinstalling NWP? Restart the computer between uninstall and reinstall.
Yes, it won't connect to another country either.
Have you tried choosing a different country for the virtual location?
I'm using Windows 7. Restarting doesn't help.
Have you restarted your PC?
If you use Windows 8/8.1 or 10, there can be an issue with the Fast Start feature.. See more information here.
