I see now that your tabs are also greyed out. You should contact Support immediately, by clicking the link in your product, and let them know you are having a problem with activating your product, they will be able to fix this up for you.

Let us know how you get on.

Where exactly is that? I can’t seem to find it.

I edited my post, please read it again. Thanks

Edit: I see you are still using Version 1, I will send you a private message to advise how you can upgrade to version 2 for free using your current subscription, but try to get this issue fixed first.

Oh I see. Now my son got the free trial to work. Should I try using the free trial then entering my product key that way?

Yes, do that. But first, have you downloaded the free trial for version 2, or is it an old download for the trial? You can get the free trial for the latest version here . Download that, if you haven’t already, and enter your product key when prompted. You will then have the latest version of N360, and you remaining subscription will be applied.

Oh ok. I will try that after my Live Update completes. I think that might have been my problem all along. I forgot to update it. But if this doesn’t work then I will try what you said.

OK, let us know how you get on. Your images show you are running Version 1, you need to do the free upgrade to Version 2, if you need any further help with this let us know. Thanks

OK I am currently getting Version 2 but it is very slow and I have a meeting tomorrow at 8 so I can’t go to bed too late. Can I leave this running over night?

Sure that’s fine, let it run. See you tomorrow.

Well I can’t really do anything about this now but I got several errors. I am going to try reinstalling it one more time and if I cannot I am just going to use Mcafee.

I just recently isntalled Norton. I am asuming that Norton is one of the startup programs but even if it isn’t then it won’t load. I am running windows xp SP3 on an AMD Athlon 2200+ with 1.7 Ghz and 1GB of memory. When I click on the Norton Icon nothing happens. I tried doing the live update, didn’t do anything. I got the support to load though but that is just about it. Any reasons why this might be happening?

ap101, before you do that, can you please uninstall by running the Norton Removal Tool, then reinstall and I’m sure everything should be OK. Let us know if you could please, thanks.

Actually I got it to load somehow, doubt I can do it again. This time the scan is grayed out and it says I do not have transaction security.

I tried pressing continue, it takes me to an account login script and I login with my Norton Information and it says thank you, you have X amount of days left.
