Norton Won't Repair Trojan on Mac - in Mobile Backups

I've seen similar forums on here that ask the same question but they've been locked due to inactivity so really would appreciate help on this one -

Norton Antivirus has located some Trojan.Gen files which were in my Trash.  It couldn't repair them but they were in my Trash so I deleted the files.  Now they're still being detected but in my Mobile Backups folder.  I can't access the folder to delete the backup files or even disable and reenable the mobile backups as I've seen people suggest previously.

Really worried that these are going to mess up my Mac and anything I connect to it.  I've always been hot on viruses and keeping my Macbook safe so this is really bugging me.

Running fine at the moment so want to find a solution ASAP to keep it that way.

Please help!
