I have an alert that indicates my PC as the attacker and the IP address 72.191.216.xxx as the target.
It seems this IP address is the address of one of those "we have you on spycam video" tricks that they use on face book to get you to go to a malicious site.
So it makes me think that the IP address 72.191.216.xxx is not the target, but that I am
Is it common that sometimes the logging of the intrusion/attack alerts with Norton Antivirus 2008 soemtimes
REVERSES the target and attacker?
example that in this case my PC is not the attacker but the target and the IP address in question is not the target but the attacker?
Anyone able to help with this? this is more a question on how the encounter gets logged
I have searched old posts and have found some items talking about how the attacker/target directions have been reversed before.
Is this still sometimes the case? Is there a way I can fix it or is it just a sometimes default with NAV2008?
As long as it is just an error with the directions being switched, I'm cool with that
