how can i backup my computer to someplace other than Norton360 backup??
"Verify all backups" if this option in the Where tab of Manage Backup sets window is checked, Norton checks the hard drive/flash drive if it has the latest files backed up (ie) whether the source and the destination is same.
- If 'Yes', the backup will not run at all.
- If 'No' the backup will run and will overwrite the previously backed up file
This option is not valid for CDs / DVDs, in this case each time you run a backup the files will be overwritten.
What did you have in mind? You cannot backup to another cloud storage service. But if you want to backup to an external drive, you just need to map a drive letter to that drive. Then in the Where tab of the Backup settings you can choose that drive as the destination. This will also work for another network connected computer/server. I have mapped a folder on my home server to a drive letter and Norton backs up to that location.
