so monday my nortons just didnt load up when i started up my computer so i tried clicking on the icon on my desktop and the hourglass appeared but then nothing happened, no icon appeared in my tray and no proccesses appeared in my task manager either but it did have that bar in windows explorer and the live update still works but thats it can anyone help me please. and yes i did try reinstalling it, it just vanished again the next time i reset my computer.
I am not sure how you uninstalled the Norton 360 before re-installing. If you have not used Norton removal tool, please download it from this LINK and run it multiple times for complete uninstallation of Norton 360. Norton Removal tool will completely remove all Norton programs from your computer. If you have any other Norton programs installed, make sure that you have the installation files, so that you can reinstall it later.
I have uninstalled it and reinsalled and it runs perfect untill i restart my computer then it stops working and i cant get the mainstub to load up so i cant run scans.
What OS and SP?
Run LiveUpdate; start>run>luall
The latest updates/patches may fix this problem
its a Windows Xp Sp3 and i did, it didnt fix it.
