Nortons and Hitman Pro/Alert

Hi,

Been using Nortons/symantec product for 20 years. Early this year after my latest purchased lcicence expired, I decided to try a couple of other secuiry suites to see if they had got better (or caught up)...after using internet security suites for avg for three weeks, avast for a month and a bit and bitdefender (for less than a day...what a joke). I reverted to N.I.S..

Last year I was using this same package with Hitman Pro, Hitman Alert & malwarebytes...and got on famously.

NOW Hitman Pro or alert blocks NIS scans and live updates..what has happened ('why cant they get on').

Live chat resulted in three seperate consultants and 35 mins of wasted time waiting..and resulted in a DNS reset, and the argument that hitman represented a 'second security suite on the one PC'. It certainly does not.

Hitman cannot be classed as a suite...only a supplementary/complimentary additon...like Stinger (McAfee)...and also like (more recently) Windows defender which automatically & irregularly scans the one pc with the latest windows 10 update, whereas previously it was disabled when a security suite was added.

In addition, not only will live update not install, but scans will not run...as hitman pro or alert strikes and freezes the program?!.

Hope someone can clear this up...as all the live chat guys wanted to was to send to escalation team, which left me nowhere

regards

Lethal
