Norton's Antispam for Outlook 2007

I have Comcast's new Norton's 360 and had some add-in issues, one of which was Norton's AntiSpam for Outlook, which caused Outlook to freeze up frequently. On the "Tool" tab of Outlook I went to "Trust Center" highlighted the "Add-ins" and at the bottom there is a window which says COM add-ins click go. This will pull up a list of add-ins, then find Norton's Anti-Spam, click REMOVE. Go to Outlook and make sure Norton's AntiSpam is not on the Outlook taskbar at the top. Disable that  by opening it and selecting "permanently time out". Open Windows Task Manger, under the "processes" tab locate OUTLOOK.exe and End Process. Open Outlook back up. It should be gone and listed under the "disabled" items in the Trust Center. Check disabled items at the bottom of the page where you previously used "COM add-ins" by clicking the down arrow then highlight "Disabled Items" instead. I also turned the feature off in Norton's Security Suite settings under AntiSpam.

After all this AntiSpam still persisted in reloading, though it would not show up on the taskbar, it still ran in the baqckground....grrrrrrr,  so I also changed the registry value from "1" to "0" on the "msouplug.dll". No more AntiSpam.........yeah!

Oop, forgot. Disable Norton's Security Suite "Tamper" feature also in settings so you can change the registry, then re-enable it after changing the registry value.
