I have a similar problem to a previous thread. - http://community.norton.com/norton/board/message?board.id=nis_feedback&thread.id=63519
I also have a problem when i start up my computer/and try to open any program , i get a message saying
"globalroot/systemroot/system32/vsfoceytqxttto.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the installation media or contact your systems administrator or the software vendor for support"
This appeared about a dozen or so times during boot up. It also appears when i open any program (ie firefox, outlook express etc)
When everything has loaded nortons informs me it has detected something called downloader. I cant run a scan.
Following the instructions on the previous thread..
I tried to disable nortons but it wouldnt let me. So i was told by a friend to type in msconfig and disable nortons from starting up.
I am now currently about to start a SysProt log which i will attach here once it's complete.
Im not very computer literate but i can follow instructions.
I have uninstalled spybot and adaware but installed malwarebyte.
Is there anything else I should do?
